Create your own route or cycle indoors! Ride alone or with friends! Sign up for Y Cycle and make your Sunday ride matter!
This year's Y Cycle will be decentralized: there is no "group" ride - Choose your riding partners for the day or get out there and ride on your own. Whether you ride 10 km or 160km, join the effort and raise money for a vital cause!

Helping kids like Peter Jr.
“Our son has autism. Summer break is supposed to be home to some of your sweetest childhood memories. And we feared that all Peter would remember is feeling alone, not included, and out of place. Many summer camps just don’t have the resources to help autistic kids integrate. It was heartbreaking. Then we found out about the Y’s summer camp and everything changed.
Through the expert support, kindness, and dedication of the counselors and staff at the Y, he’s become so much more... him. We see him eagerly participating and making friends. We see him reaching out to his peers instead of shying away from them. We see his personality emerging more and more. He wouldn’t be the ball of absolute sunshine he is without the Y. He wouldn’t feel like he belongs. He wouldn’t have a place. This is why I ride in Y Cycle.”
— Peter Watson, Peter Jr’s dad.
Why we ride
Proceeds from the Y Cycle for Special Needs are used to support Inclusion Services at the Sylvan Adams YM-YWHA.
The Y's doors may be closed, but we continue to offer a host of online inclusion programs. Many people with special needs come to the Y every day and depend on us. The current disruption is exceptionally challenging for them; our current services are providing a lifeline for them and their caregivers.
The Ben Weider JCC Special Needs department provides children, adolescents and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities with the opportunity to participate in programs that take place at the Y.
